About The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
The highly-anticipated sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is finally here. An old rumour said it wouldn’t arrive until 2023. Now, Nintendo has essentially confirmed it by showing off The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom at its Nintendo Direct event. Unfortunately, eager players will have to put away their Sheikah Slates, as the game will be playable on only 12 May 2023.
Nintendo also gave players a small glimpse into what The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom could have in store for players. Like its predecessor, it involves a lot of gliding through the air, climbing and platforming. Players will likely spend a lot of time in the sky and we can expect to see some new gameplay mechanics centred around air travel. Strictly speaking, this isn’t new information and had been hinted in last year’s gameplay trailer.
