About Madzik
BKOM Studios has announced Madzik, a new fantasy-set co-op hack-and-slash with a dose of ’80s vibe. It’s in development for PC and due out later this year.
You play as one of two heroes – Makino (a winged bear who is a strong melee character) and Veroline (a plush doll who is in fact a powerful spellcaster) – in the handcrafted land of Zikverländ, which is based on the stories the CEO of BKOM used to tell his kids when they were growing up. BKOM says the phases of the moon will directly influence gameplay in a feature they call Moon Madness: “At the heart of Zikverländ lies the influence of the Moons, celestial bodies that govern the ebb and flow of magic in the realm.
