About Acer Predator Galea
The Galea 500 is a very attractive headset, and its overall size is what I’d all “gargantuan.” Two metal strips across the top hold everything together, and considering its $300 price tag I’m glad they put some actual metal in the design instead of just using plastic. The headband has no adjustments to make it fit, as the headband uses an elastic material to conform to your head size automatically. It’s a similar suspension system as that found on the HyperX Revolver S.
I found the headset to be very comfortable, even during longer play sessions. That said, I have a large cranium, and even then the Galea 500 felt a smidge loose on my head. I can imagine someone with a smaller head finding this headset to be too large and heavy, but if you have a giant noggin like me, it’s a decent fit.
